Pikesoft was founded in 2001 by David Beers, a software developer with 6 years of experience in areas such as:

• Java phone applications using Java ME
• Palm OS development using Codewarrior and C/C++
• PocketPC development using C#, Visual Basic .NET, and the .NET Compact Framework
• Cross-platform (Palm/PocketPC/Symbian) development using Java and the SuperWaba VM
• Desktop companion software for mobile solutions in C#, VB, or cross-platform Java (SWT and Eclipse Rich Client Platform)
• SQL Server, MySQL, and MS Access database backends
• PHP and Java web applications and web services
